Erika Iris Simmons makes composite art portraits of people associated with the item that she has chosen to manipulate. She may be more widely known for her series entitled “Ghost in the Machine” where she took cassette tapes and old film reels to produce portraits of famous individuals.

With this particular series she has taken up a new medium, sheet music, to manifest these delicately intricate portraits which are beautifully executed.
