Crystal Wagner Creates Undulating Otherworldly Neon Paper Sculptures For London Exhibition

Crystal Wagner is an American paper artist whose work plays with ideas of the two and three dimensional. The techniques used in her large paper installations incorporate a use of materials that make each viewer question their understanding of texture and space. They each appear natural and otherworldly and are often found crawling across walls and floors like an alien liquid, each color bursting in their unique formations that have been bent and molded, cut into strips, or meticulously layered like feathers. She is currently in a solo exhibition entitled "Bioforms and Blooms" at the Stolen Space Gallery in London, which will be on display through February 26th, so be sure to check it out.
