Its Time to Light the Lights by Brittney Lee

Brittney Lee needs no introduction, we have featured her outstanding work here a couple of times. You may recall her piece for The Little Mermaid, one of my favorite movies as a kid, and her It’s a Small World Tribute. Brittney’s new piece entitled “It’s time to Light the Lights” pays tribute to Jim Henson, making it hold a bit of nostalgia for most. Who doesn’t know The Muppets… and if you don’t there is treat below just for you.

The Little Mermaid a Layered Paper Illustration by Brittney Lee

I had recently come across the talented Brittney Lee and her beautiful fantasy-like illustrations and then while going through her work was completely blown away by the fact that she creates some of her paintings in paper form as well and I must say the detailing in these pieces are absolutely incredible. So it is my pleasure to share this treasure with you.
