YCN Fedrigoni Pizza Paper Sculpture

YCN Fedrigoni: Pizza Paper Sculpture

We love our fair share of paper food sprinkled throughout the site, hence the need to include this gem, especially for pizza lovers! The lovely pizza paper sculpture you see before you is a collaborative submission by Leeds-based graphic designers Sebastian Needler and Andy Foster for YCN’s Fedrigoni brief. Within the brief they were asked to provide a range of products highlighting specifically the high-end stock, while also showcasing their versatility. They decided to link back to Fedriogini’s Italian origins with arguably Italy’s most famous food, the pizza.

The hand crafted paper pizza would be delivered to the target audience in the form of direct delivery via pizza box packaging, as if receiving an actual pie. This ultimately ensures that the target market is always directly involved with Fedrigoni and the product. The use of this technique will kill the misconception that Fedrigoni is unaffordable by linking it with the pizza which is 100% affordable.

The toppings are based on the most popular choices according to the public, and are made using a range of different stocks to showcase what can be offered through Fedrigoni. They have taken away the traditional sample swatch book and replaced it with something truly unique, making it more relaxed and creative.
