“The majority of the books used in these installations are found items that, under other circumstances, would be tossed in the garbage or recycled at the paper mill. The spatial sculpture is installed differently each time, as the fragments are pieced together each time into a unique, collective whole. The history of the written words, combined with the visual variations in book size, shape, and tonal color ranges, gives new life to otherwise meaningless objects.” – My Modern Metropolis
