Zim and Zou have been peppered throughout the site with their numerous projects that are all innovative, unique and extremely colorful. These projects range from a paper tape cover for your usb to a bright blue burger on the cover of a magazine.
Speaking of food, this particular series was created to mark the 30th birthday of gastronomic restaurant Au Bon Gîte, where the chef has prepared special bimonthly menus showcasing unique dishes throughout the year. Each of these menus has been composed with a certain harmony and layering of flavors, which Zim and Zou have manifested in their preparation of each of these masks.
Chef’s Mask II, featured above, represents the various ingredients used to cook the second menu: turnips, poultry, morels, crayfish, lemons, oranges, chocolate.

Chef’s Mask I, featured below, represents the various ingredients used to cook the first menu: onions, peas, asparagus, rice, ham on the bone, and strawberries.
