“I tend to find items then investigate a way in which they can be reused and transformed; giving new life to things that would otherwise go unloved or be thrown away.” – Jennifer Collier
Jennifer Collier is from Stafford, UK where she transforms our everyday interpretation of household items into lovely works of art from repurposed paper materials. She works with various types of paper which include maps, postcards, news clippings and the like and then by bonding, waxing, trapping and stitching she produces unusual paper ‘fabrics’, which are used to explore the ‘remaking’ of household objects.
