Shelby Craig is a designer working on several different platforms ranging from photographer to digital and also a traditional means. He currently works for McCann based out of Sydney where they created a campaign for Mastercard Priceless Music where they wanted to represent them in such a way that would appeal to a newer generation.
This year the campaign focused on Birds of Tokyo, a rock band based out of Perth, Australia. A promotional spot was created with the production help of Engine that involved complex stop motion paper modeling along with mixed media where the final spot was something that the viewer could directly relate to through its tangibility.

In addition to the animated promotion there was a print campaign where they modeled on a 3×3 meter paper set a variety of hand-made paper sculptures to support the styling of the animation which was created in collaboration with paper engineer Benja Harney. If you happen to be in the western part of Australia be sure to check out the show which will be May 27th at Cockatoo Island. Also below is a behind the scenes look into their craftwork.
