Recently ended on March 13th, REGARD Saguenay International Short Film Festival is known as one of the six biggest festivals in North America dedicated exclusively to short films. Over five days, this event presents more than 100 short films from Quebec and all around the world (24 different countries this year).
Sylvain Dumais in collaboration with Lacy Barry were commissioned to create an opening title sequence, TV spot and printed campaign for the 2011 festival. The idea behind this piece was to manipulate the logo and to come up with three dioramas which all represent a key characteristic of the event – playfulness, winter and film.
